Illuminated signs have become an important part of the Japanese landscape over the past few decades. Areas such as Tokyo’s Ginza shopping district and Osaka’s Dotonbori shopping district turn into illuminated wonderlands at night with all the LED, neon, and electric signs lighting up the streets and buildings! Also, signs such as the Glico Man sign in Dotonbori, have become major tourist attractions and city icons.
